    That is a shocking tackle, he deserves a very lengthy ban and a massive fine for that. Lads have gone to prison for that kind of assault.

    The comment about prison was tongue-in-cheek but whatever era you look at football this sort of tackle was never acceptable.

    I've just discovered that the lad for Livingston only got a yellow card for this tackle. A Hearts player was sent off late on, now unless he beheaded an opponent on the field, I can't see how it can be any worse than this one?
