Sure he is out of form - plain for all to see - but he did actually force their keeper into an error which Ramage scored from, in case anyone forgot. His game is suffering at the moment but it will come good again.

Cheering when he got taken off last night was as bad, for me, as booing Michael Chopra when he scored against Donny a few years ago.

Sometimes football supporters are just ignorant.

Still our best player this season, but I don't mind the cheering. When players go through good form they lap up applause. Therefore when they are in a long bad run of form they should expect it being known how the paying fans feel. It's not like he's had a couple of bad games and they are already on his back. It's gone on for ages with only one goal scored by him not from the penalty spot in something like 18 or so games.

It was embarrassing IMO. No need for it at all. Fair enough don't give him the usual clap as he goes off (the silence would send the same message) but to actually cheer him off is ****. The player coming on got some boos too. Classy.

That and the treatment of Hemmings I thought was appalling.

Embarrassing was that. I think Ponty has already summed it up well enough. But aye, nowt clever about doing that.

    Agree with the OP.

I applauded him off, didn't cheer, it doesn't help when he's being played out of position.

As for Hemmings - the booing when he just failed to make contact with a cross was disgraceful

The pansy should have gone with his head, diving it would have been cheers then not boos

I've seen the highlights (LOL) and I think it's a bit harsh on Hemmings. 7 days previous he put a similar chance away with style. It's the rest of his game that bothers me.

Works both ways play well and they get applauded play poor and they get boos

    Seems fair to me

The fans reacted to another very poor performance by Conor . Don't think the reaction was just on last nights performance. Scores in next game and plays well he will be applauded . Simple these guys are pro footballers and should expect this

So our top goalscorer who carried the team at the start of the season is low on confidence and needs the SUPPORT of our SUPPORTers. Let's just make the situation worse. This is the sort of thing he will remember when he is banging them in again and some other club comes in for him. He'll be off in a shot.

    Well done.

They do expect it. Dunt make it reight. It's not like he's hid away for 70 minutes, or stuck two fingers up at the fans. R lass is a fantastic cook. She's made some delicious meals lately. If tonight she cooks and it tastes like **** I'll ******* boo her.

Cheering him off was absolutely ridiculous. It's probably the same section of supporters who make that stupid noise every time Mvoto touches the ball.

That being said, No-one. And that includes Hourihane is above criticism providing it's done in the right way (if there is such a thing). I thought his performance again last night was beyond shocking and the clear lack of effort a slap in the face of the paying customers. The same could also be said for a number of others too.

If you're used to her cooking brilliantly and then for 2-3 months the standard slips dramatically, I don't blame you booing her cooking :D

It was ok to slag Wiseman an Kennedy though?.....so why not Hemmings cos he is just as shlte?

A lot of hypocrisy on here I am afraid.

Why don't we just boo the lot and then its fair innit?

The reason people boo is because we are fekking rubbish.....fact, as Rafa might say.

But what if she has done too much cooking? Maybe Whitey should pull his finger out once in a while and give her a rest? Or maybe she is being asked to cook in the living room instead of the kitchen?

Not sure we are talking about Hourihane anymore...
