I'm a salesman and I haven't hit my targets for this year. I have tried explain I have only been in the job 15 months but they wasn't any of it And that changing salesman every year won't help Can I take them to a tribunal ??? Oh no I can't because that's our life works Get over it people DW been sacked because he hasn't hit the targets he was set Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Your glad wilson's gone. i think everyone get's it. You have every right to have that opinion and to be honest wilson has probably deserved the inevitable sacking. But that's at least 3 thread's you have started on the subject along with numerous post's on other thread's. You are starting to make yourself look a bit of a tit now, and a obnoxious one at that.
I’ve just sacked my sales director – 4th one in 2 years. He’s done no worse than any of the others. In fact he’s probably done better than most would have in the same situation. But we used to have more customers. We used to perform better. So I gave him targets he was very unlikely to meet. Fool agreed to the targets because he’s delivered them before – but in other companies – where he might have had a more committed and experienced workforce. However despite him agreeing he’s not managed to deliver that – despite me cutting budgets. My company is in terminal decline. Its’ obviously not my fault as the owner – I keep making quality decisions – I keep sacking the sales director because it’s all about sales. Instead of allowing the existing director more time to understand the customers, the competition and the capabilities of the company and adapt a strategy to turn it round despite telling him that’s what I would do when he took the job. I have to do the right thing - Again. I’ll sack the sales director - because that's how life works -as it’s all about sales – I know it didn’t work the last 3 times – but it must work next time. I’m sure the customers will respond positively to the new sales director. Won’t you customers……..hello customers. HELLO- where have all the customers gone – right – time to sack another sales director.
You will have to explain which truth apparently hurt's me. Wilson being sacked doesn't. I had lost all interest in the last few week's and in my opinion the board have done the right thing.
Cheers for that my favourite ever post apart from one about cheese in the late 90s. Cheered me up no end.
