The table doesn't mean everything. Man Utd are above West Ham in the league who's doing the better job? Van Gaal or Allardyce?

City are above Southampton, who's doing the better job Pellegrini or Koeman?

 

So who was Wilson doing a better job than that's above us in the table?

Well that's one of sixteen. And hugely debateable given how many great cup runs that lot have had.

With the resources he had we should have been top ten minimum. Injuries and so on meaning it unrealistic to dictate playoffs as a minimum.

He is nowhere near, but importantly has shown no sign, players missing aside, that he can build a team to consistently perform in this division.

I fully support the decision. Good luck to him, but better luck to whoever comes in.
