It seems fitting to me that I started supporting Barnsley when Danny was manager and now he's gone again, so am I. I'm angry, upset and baffled. He's just signed some players who look like they might be the business and Winnall is due back probably next game. We don't look like it is likely we would be relegated again and a couple of wins now Winnall is back could very easily propel us into the playoffs. Absolutely stupid decision.
I ain't going again until a day off work coincides with a match-day. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Bloody rubbish.
So am I. This takes the piss. After 55 years as a supporter I quit. Well done Mansford you broke up a great affair I hope you are next for the chop..
Lots of flouncing going on. I'm very keen to see how the 'it's got nothing to do with it being Danny Wilson' mob, support the next appointment.
If its an appointment that supports the existing blue print oc someone with a proven track record of developing youth players and talent spotting I'm in. If we don't appoint on that basis it seems pointless so will do away games but no more than the occasional home game from next season. Im bored of contributing to managers retirement funds.
with all the same fervour and hope we support every appointment. i hope it never happens of course... but if we lose saturday i wonder if the same vitriol and spite will be posted from the vocal minority???
I'm actually pretty nonplussed. That's just where I've gradually got to over the last 10 years or so. Can't be ar$ed wasting energy on it..
Jeysus, half of you lot will be wearing 'Je Suis Danny' T-shirts next... Have you not seen how utterly hopeless and unbalanced the team is over the last few months?
Only one person to blame. Well the players have to bear some responsibility as well. Lose more than you win and the writing is on the wall. Only thing that disappoints me is the weird timing of it. I wish they had someone lined up to take over the helm like Forest did recently.
It's not rocket science, the timing is calculated to give someone a chance to show that there are grounds for optimism before the next "Early bird" offer comes up.
