You've got until tonight to make the deadline.

Perhaps those clinging to that notion were told as much by the club? Because I certainly don't recall us being told that instant promotion was the aim. I do recall you getting angry when the competitive squad you were promised wasn't built in the summer though. So, if they were after immediate success, why didn't Cryne spend as such?

It's all ********, Jim. Summat's gone off with Danny and either the players or board. And, I'll get to know what that was. I usually do.

Exactly. We were misled about early recruitment. I was daft to believe it. It's the same with the idea of a long term strategy. If it summat works a club will stick with it, if not they'll start getting twitchy then the change is inevitable.

It's like John Lennon said, "you're busy making long terms and before you know it you're at the bottom of the fourth division".

    You still care though, yes?

    I'm finding it difficult today.

If the club loses folk like us (without sounding conceited) then they're ******.

Life is too short to watch ***** week in week out, especially when i am paying my hard earned cash. Plus i have a mortgage and bills to pay off, and in the near future i plan to start a family. I love BFC, but i just can't justify wasting money to watch the ***** that has been served up for the last year and a bit. Call me impatient or whatever, i am 24, unfortunately i haven't witnessed football before it turned **** and managers got more time, but i can't help the fact that i was born in 1990 and started going to games properly when i was older. It doesn't make my opinions any less valid than anyone on here, because at the end of the day that's all they are, opinions. I don't need to write long drawn out blogs/posts/threads containing thousands of words to get my opinions across, its just a waste of time to me, i have got better things to be doing, and again that doesn't make my opinion any less valid than anyone else's.
Ultimately i just want what everybody else wants, to be entertained watching the club i love.

Sorry Conan, but that is a disgusting post, and an insult to Barnsley fans.

Can't argue with any of that.

So why not go watch a team who wins every week instead? And then you wouldn't need to call for the managers head here, every couple of months? Just a thought. ;)

I wish you luck in planning a family. Exciting times ahead for you.

Yep. I always do. As do 99.9% of folk on here. That's why we get such extreme reactions to both negative and positive things about the club.

While I do think the right decision has been made, it will all be for nought if we don't bring the right man in, and if I'm being honest I'm not sure I have faith in the board to get that reight.

If we get a couple of results you might feel a bit differently.

It's not necessarily about winning for me though, like i said i just want to be entertained, that's why i loved Paddy McCourt so much, he brought excitement to the team, and despite our side being ***** last season, at least we had a player who got us off our feet despite his work rate.

    And thank you!

Why? Another poster has openly said that they wanted the team to lose force a change. This is no different.

Btw - I'm not pointing fingers. I'm just asking the question.

We were entertaining though when Winnall was fit.

If Winnall starts today, that'll help.

I think his point was that the offer was there to elucidate clear reasons why he needed to go and no one could or would do so.
