Still no Winnall. But no Ramage and Jennings either. Glad Holgate is back in, and look forward to hearing us take the game to someone. Fingers crossed Leroy finally wakes up eh?
I'm glad Holgate is back in. And Lita too. He's got a long way to go to get those 30 goals this season which he spoke about so hopefully he'll get on the scoresheet today. Let's have some passion and attacking intensity and go at Crawley. You reds
New management same problem.Lop sided midfield no cover down the left hand side. What is wrong with these people?
It might be because Wilson ignored the left hand side of the pitch and didn't sign anybody to play either left back or left wing.
Playing all of Scowen/Pearson/Houriane in the same midfield was one of the downfalls of Wilson. Can't believe we are still doing it.
Be interesting if it was ...................Turnbull .........Holgate Cranie Nyatanga Lalkovic....Pearson Scowen....Smith ...................Hourihane ...............Waring.....Lita But will probably be ...................Turnbull Holgate....Cranie Nyatanga....Smith ...................Pearson ............Lalkovic...Scowen ..................Hourihane ..............Waring.....Lita
Lita should have been in weeks ago, training is one thing, playing week in week out is another - he might be worse than what we had but on reputation alone he needs a run in the team. He's made a career of being in the right place at the right time so hopefully that will be the case today. I can't understand Waring keeping his place in the team, needing a big man up front is becoming something of a cliché, and it's not as if he's terrorised any defences during his time here. I will hope to be proven wrong about him though.
