It's not the managers that's the problem, what's happening behind the scenes ?

There is something happening behind the scenes that we will never be party to, I don't know the answer but look what's happening we have no direction no plan no idea, thing are getting worse every season the quality of players gets worse and worse. I will always be grateful to Patrick but enough is enough

Or he could offer a share issue and let fans buy shares in the club

PC has always made it clear he will sell to someone who has the interests of the club at heart.

There doesn't seem to be many knocking about

Let me remind you what happened in 1966 when we tried to raise £40,000 with an additional share issue. Less than 3K were taken up, and the Dennis family plus one other director (I think) put in £10K to buy 2 players, which fortunately resurrected our club from possible liquidation.

A great reason not to try that it didn't work very well 50 years ago

So you're saying it could never happen now because it didn't work too well half a century ago?
Charlie Chaplin was still making films in 1966
Milton Keynes didn't exist as a town in 1966 never mind as a football club.
The apollo space program hadnt started yet

    Need I go on?

Cryne has kept the club afloat, without him we'd be in even worse s**t.

How many people put their names down for the ~£1000 'save-the-club' fund when we went into administration?

I honestly struggle to see how.

We wouldn't have been in a position to piss wages up the wall on so called star players. We would have been forced into living within our means.

And I'm certain we wouldn't be blowing half our budget year on year sacking and hiring managers.

Are you serious?? Without Cryne we wouldn't have a club at all.

So Cryne gives the club away. Who funds the defecit? You? Me? I don't have the £3m to keep the club afloat this year.

But like someone said earlier the way the club is now, having sacked danny for doing what was asked of him, Cryne may as well wind it all up and take his ball home. At least Barry would be out as well.

    a truly bonkers thread.

time for cryne to go? so you'll be happy when we are liquidated at the end of the season as sure as damn it there is no other knight in shining armour with the cash on standby!

A share issue? have you seen how portsmouth supporters trust managed to fund the purchase of their club? with a dodgy property dealer owning all the land and 8 high net worth presidents owning 51% of the supporters trust... again i fail to see these on the horizon let laone the 20000 people who all pledged £1000 to the trust
