    Works better with ****ing.
Ben made a right pigs ear of it and was clearly uncomfortable doing it. Looking at his body language it came across as he didn't agree with Danny's sacking.

If you listen to anything Mansford says you realise he needs sacking!

I've just listened to this for the first time and apart from it worrying me intensely I also was very puzzled by Mr Mansford's responses. For example he stated that 20 odd matches were enough to count as assessing the success of a long term plan. Bizarrely, to the question about us having had seven managers over the last ten years, he said that some of them had gone on to bigger and better things?....Bury? Rochdale? U.S. Coaching camps? Come to think of it, who was the last manager to go on to more success elsewhere?

The only two managers to taste any kind of success since leaving us are Keith Hill and Danny Wilson.

Keith Hill got Rochdale promoted from the basement division again, Wilson won the football league cup, had a 12th place Premier League Finish, 5 play-off campaigns in League One and a promotion from league two.

What's Danny done since taking us to the Premier though?

You'd have been worried even more if you could see him flapping in the video.

12th place in the Premier League with the money he spent wasn't a success , he was that bad the local MPs got involved trying to get rid of him.
5 playoff campaigns in League 1 isn't what I'd call success , he wasn't capable of getting a team out of League 1 , over 1000 games managed but never managed in the 2nd tier says it all really.

So lets be honest hes had the same success as Keith Hill really since he left us ,

I agree with that, we haven't been given the full story and I don't think we will be. I never came across a sacking that also included the second in command and left a club so bereft of experience of running a first team. It has to be serious for that to happen. I don't think Mr. Cryne, Ben Mansford, or our chairman, who I've never seen, are fools and I don't question their judgement on this. We don't have the facts that they have. Ben might not want to make the sackings, but that doesn't mean that he disagrees with it.
That's one scenario, the other being that we have been bought by an oligarch who loves our down to earth northern spirit and wants to bring his own people in. You choose the most likely.
