One player that needs dropping. Only thing he is better than Davies for is catching a ball from a corner! Pathetic
**** me. Did his usual miles out of position trick for the first goal, did his usual spilling the ball for his secomd, did his even more usual slow motion fall to the floor for the third ans weak as piss for the fourth
Not to single out individuals but he has been a major disappointment to me. I don't see any difference between him and Davies so would pick on form.
Agree with this, in fact from what I remember Davies didn't do anything wrong to get dropped. At Fleetwood away in September some Barnsley fans were giving him loads of personal abuse coz he use to be at Wednedy! For me if Turnbull's back is still cashing him problems then he needs to go see a specialist and get it sorted. If he is supposedly fully fit then dear me he's a very poor player!
When Burton mentioned players being dropped next week I couldn't wait to see the goals on the FLS. After seeing them you've got to think Turnbull is definately the most likely to be dropped after being at fault for at least four goals that he gifted them through shoddyness. Cranie was the only one trying for the first goal but his task was made harder by Turnbull rushing off his line like a mad man. Then for the next two he's scared of coming off his line so he conceeds two in his own six yard box from about a combined 4-5 yards out. They should have scored when he screwed up the other attempt shown. Then he shouldn't have spilled the ball for another. He's been played this season simply because he's more 'experienced' but i'd rather guys were played on merit and Davies isn't going to get experience if he's not tried.
He does if he makes very very basic errors like Turnbull did yesterday not just for goals but for other chances too. He's suppose to be experienced but I struggle to think of many games he played well in. He's weighing us down and making the defence panic because he changes his mind all the time. Basic keeping of taking a few steps off your line and grabbing the ball he seems to struggle with constantly. He is either stuck to his line, comes out to flap or rushes out to punch alot of the time.
