If u were Burton and just witnessed the said players throw in the towel, would u have named and shamed them? he doesnt owe them anything after that performance? I would have named them

Nyatanga and Cranie definitely, probably Turnbull. Thinking about it I'd say the only player with even an ounce of credit from the 2nd half would be Scowen, and possibly Oates and Hemmings if we're being generous. Rest were a waste of space with Nyatanga being the worst.

Like others, I think that the players should be asked to contribute. There answers could be very revealing.

Cant be hevvin captain giving up the ghost and am surprised at Lewin and Turnbull, these players should be cajoling and encouraging the younger players no matter what the score line is and setting some kind of chin up attitude.

He has the ability but like too many of our players he doesn't have the heart or professionalism.

Lita was poor, didn't put their defenders under pressure at all by closing them down. Too casual by half.

Nyatanga was also poor, anything but dominant.

Interesting some naming Hourihane. When Scowen lost the ball on the half-way line and gave chase, the only other to chase back was Hourihane.

Think people are been harsh on hourihane, yeah he's not been as good as he was at the start of the season but he set the standard very high for himself and he was never going to keep it up all season. But I still think the effort is still there from him, if he wasn't as brilliant as he was at the start of the season I don't think there would be as many people knocking him, but each to there own!
