Wilson was liked and respected by the squad...probably explains Saturday's debacle.

How do you know he was liked and respected, and what explains the reasons for the debacles in the previous weeks if the Crawley game was some kind of protest.
One of the reasons he was moved out of Sheff Utd was dressing room unrest , he also admitted he lost the players here last season, not a very good man Manager isn't our Danny,

Young inexperienced team, ravaged by injuries, frightened to express themselves cos the crowd would immediately be on their backs.

Nonsense. Same scenario as here...Board buckling to the Rent a Gob Mob.

    Source please.

You really think the board at Barnsley Football Club are making these kinds of decisions on the back of a dozen vocal forumites? I'd be very surprised.

Ravaged by injuries , really ? Think we had Sam Winnall out against Fleetwood and Swindon

Not what I've been told by someone who works at B/Lane

He said it himself that certain players weren't behind him last season.

I love the rose tinted view sparticus, but if the squad did respect Wilson we would not be in this position struggling in L1... This hasn't happened over night. We lost on saturday because our senior pro's lack respect and professionalism... As highlighted by Mark Burton they throw in the towel to easily. We have no leaders on the pitch! And our captain does not lead and inspire those in front of him

And many of us have been banging on about this lack of leadership on the field since the middle of last season. Why can't the club see it?

I think the performance on Saturday was the only comment we need from the players on what they think of things.

You have to think that comment was not: "We want Mark Burton!"

I think Mark Burton burnt any boats he might have had with team selection on Saturday.

If ever Mvoto was going to be a starter it had to be Saturday at Crawleys land of the giants. By the time he realised his error we were losing 2-0 by the time Mvoto got on the pitch it was 3-0 and game over.

On saturday Nyatanga was our biggest defender, Crawley had 6 players bigger or as big, we had no chance as soon as Crawley realised the mis match.

I would have selected Mvoto and Nyatanga at Centre back with Crainie replacing Scowen in midfield.

Thought the same about Mvoto, but he had the opportunity to play 2 of his youngsters at left and reight back and including Mvoto would have meant Crainie missing out which wouldn`t have gone down too well with some fans.

Not enough to get him the results that would have saved him his job. You might be right with what you are saying, but the performances didn't give that impression.

It was on player at the fans q&a with Wilson, he said he had fallen out with players last season and couldn't wait for it to end

Crainie at cente mid, replacing Scowen (not big enough to cope with Crawley centre mid giants.)

Those playerswent during the summer, they were previous managers faves, not ones brought in by Wilson.
