I'd like him here but again, it all depends what environment we're asking managers to work in.

What is the point? He'll have the same working directive as Danny and so we'll be sacking him by Xmas.

Not if the players are getting results or at least showing progressive performances.

That is unlikely given the long term plan forced on the manager by the board. Do you really think that Danny just became a bad manager when he came back to us, that his previous 950+ games were just a flash in the pan? Or do you think the problem may be somewhere else.

Certainly sounds a plausible suggestion to me, Bryn.

The long term plan doesn't force you to persist with 4-3-3 for far too long. Or to play Hemmings out wide, or off the striker. Or to keep Hemmings on the pitch longer than is required. Or to set up so drastically negative away at Swindon. Or to help Pearson vanish from the game at home to Fleetwood. To play the hokey cokey with Digby. To give Jennings one too many last chance saloons. To have players running away from the ball the minute our wingers get it.

Do I think he became a bad manager overnight? No, but in actual success terms he's been a while without it.
Do I think he deserved a bit longer? Possibly.
Do I understand why he was sacked? Yes.

If he'd be willing to manage in the third tier, he'd be one of the lead candidates. Still would prefer Rosler though personally.

Are we choosing managers on how cheerful they are? :)

He didn't do too bad at Boro or WBA funds maybe a issue but surely he's a better bet that SOD or Di ****io, but if we can tempt Mowbray why can't we tempt such as Keane, Curbs or Warnock

Because in the same order they are: Mental, been in the wilderness too long, and retired so hardly a long term appointment.

Warnock would only be interested in another crack at the Premier League...

I disagree I think he knows he isn't premiership material, give him the job for this season then give him a deal for next season and move him upstairs working above such as Higgy, Eaden, Davies or Burton

What to be challenging in the higher ends of the table? It depends if he fails as badly as Danny did
