Not having a go but I haven't seen anything from them regarding Danny's sacking , maybe I've missed it
Don't they have their own website? To be honest I don't even know anyone who is in the Supporters Trust
Splitting hairs a bit. It does seem strange that this meeting is organised by WSB in the No 7 and not by the Supporters Trust in the Legends Suite...
So something has been written by members of the Supporters Trust re Danny's sacking albeit an independent observation. Your blog should have had some small print stating that "the views expressed in this article are purely my own and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of Barnsley FC Supporters Trust" lol
Nowt on the website, I'm not on ****ter so maybe somethings been said on there, I'm a member just thought it odd I've not seen owt on anything from them
I think it was supposed to be an informal gathering to start with. Cryne & Mansford then approached WSB.
Haha. Never thought of it like that. Think it's okay not to include that disclaimer as I'm not on their board. Or summat. Dyson's a member, and I doubt WSB represent the ST with what they say. From what I've seen, I think the ST are pretty low key and rarely pull the club up at all. If I'm wrong on that, fair do's. But it's true I suppose, WSB is more of a supporters trust than the actual supporters trust. I just hope Dyson (especially) sticks to the ethos of WSB that he begun with, and doesn't end up towing the BFC party line. Thursday will give clues.
What would a statement say other than wishing him all the best for the future (which the club did)? Don't our fans feelings on this depend on their particular viewpoint? Speaking on behalf of Barnsley Fans, we are happy/unhappy* about the sacking of Danny Wilson as we don't think he was given enough time/ was given far too much time* and we do/don't* believe the club strategy can be achieved by a change of manager. We also think the "business" reason given in the clubs statement was a bit ****/ a serious consideration* etc etc *Delete as appropriate to reflect your viewpoint.
