It'll be Danny's fault if we go down though. Standard BBS protocol.

Flitcroft's fault for most on here last season so could only expect same again this season if the mitigated disaster of relegation arrives again.

Which is why I said it, Rob.

Personally, I don't think Danny or Flicker (especially) come out of last season looking good.

Of course, were the next manager to come in and relegate us, I'd be more likely to blame him because, well, we were mid table and 7 points off the drop zone when we sacked Danny. When Danny replaced Flicker, we were at the bottom of the division, 3 points from safety (thanks in part to Mellon's 4 points from 9).

If the new bloke comes in and we make the playoffs, it'd be a miracle and he'd be deemed amazing. But I'd have to give a bit of credit to Danny. :)

I think you're on to something here Andy although personally I think the Chesterfield walkers are to blame. We were doing so well...

Most people I know felt he should have gone. Taking us to relegation in the Championship to the fringes of relegation in L1 is a significant performance issue not just a timing one, especially if the club targets were of a higher level of expectation. It wasn't good to watch either. Having said that most fans I know felt it was a mistake looking to history and bringing him back in the first place. Also speaking to many non BFC fans they also felt we were massively underachieving at this stage and with our squad and weren't surprised he went. I'm dissapointed it didn't work out but I like to look forward rather than back and hope we find a replacement that fits the club and fans objectives and we do so quickly.

Sorry its Facts hence the reason Mr Wilson is currently Unemployed.

Not been to many games this season but what I have been to has been utter Carp apart from Rochdale Away.

As regards the games I haven't attended, the majority have been Carp as well apart from maybe 3 or 4 games.

How do I know that? Come on this board after the games and read the howls of derision from the posters who I respect.

    Thats enough for me

Never Mind though Jase and his merry men will sort it all out before the Season Ticket renewals arrive on the Doormat for folk.

To be fair though DrZ it IS Bens job to make sure we are an attractive option for season ticket renewals. Many people always say never again, yet renew when the time comes. We are proverbial optimists and believers. Bens job is to attract our commitment. It's part of the business model. Now the performances and achievements that justify the outlay, well that's another story. In many businesses you get your money back for deficient goods.

Hardly pulling up any trees? They sit 4th in the Championship Form table, having won about 5 of the last 7 with one loss. Considering he's got a lunatic as his boss, I'd reckon its ******* unbeleivable. I hate Leeds btw, but don't mind Redfearn United.

^^^this^^^. Even a bloke I know who wasn't a big fan of Wilson reckons we were wrong to sack him. Not everyone I've spoken to are as angry as I was about it but the common opinion is that he should not have been sacked and there is far more to the sacking than Ben has told us.
