    Millions in coats

what are you suggesting ? A mass plastic bag collection, why stop at coats though....surely any manner of clothing would help the fund along the way. It would be a cheap way to raise it too about 4 dozen illegal immigrants to chuck the plastic bags through letterboxes on abart 50p an hour..... the plan is faultless.

Land in the middle of some poor to average housing that has, still to my knowledge, a sporting covenant, on it. Whilst 'development' sites remain undeveloped and the local economy continues to stagnate. Still if you're so confident put your 67pence where your mouth is.

We should never even consider leaving Oakwell.

Is anybody in a hurry to buy the land occupied by the old school next to the ground?

I really believe a new stadium and some investment could give us a core support of 15,000.

We're a bigger club than we give ourselves credit for.

Not that I want us to move, because Oakwell is a hive of memories for all of us.

Maybe in the short term that would be true. Look at Brighton jumping from a handful of fans to over 20,000 regularly. They won't stay though. Rotherham the same, although it doesn't seem to have worked for Donny.

I'm not saying we are a small club - medium sized maybe. One that I've been lucky enough to see having quite a few sunshine days, but these are heavily outweighed by those where the rain is lashing down relentlessly. It's what being a fan of a club that you know will always let you down eventually is all about. I'm glad that I AM a fan though, and not just someone who goes along reluctantly to see what it's like, and then doesn't bother going back.

40 years of exile didn't dim my enthusiasm. There are people all over the world who know about Barnsley Football Club, because I made sure they knew!
