I can't see that anyone has mentioned this yet, but BM confirmed that all 7,500 season ticket holders are counted in the figures whether they attend or not. The club has the real figures and BM assured us that the actual attendances are dropping.

When you have 136??? Yeovil fans, 300 and odd Port Vale fans and 89 Fleetwood fans turning up since the turn of the year the attendances are bound to drop. It's like saying if the new manager continues losing games for us he will be responsible for the average gate going back up again when we play the likes of Sheff United.

Not been clarified I know, but I took it he meant home support attendance was dropping.

If we had carried on watching the same football for the rest of the season then I wouldn't have renewed, there still needs to be a massive improvement.

I'm not surprised. Brighton have been pretty notorious for it this season, stating they've had 27,000 attending games where the ground is half empty due to the happy clappers staying away because they're near the bottom for once. People are correct to point out the low away fans, but I've no reason to doubt that hundreds of our own are staying away because of the standard of football on show. There can't be many who would be willing to pay £23 to watch us, at best, limp to a scruffy 1-0 win over Oldham. I've got a half season ticket and will only be going on Saturday because it's an afternoon out with friends and I've literally nothing better to do. I fear unless there's a drop in season ticket and match day prices, or the football/results miraculously improve, we'll be down to <7,000 per game next season.

It's obvious that the attendances have been falling. The Ponte end looks pretty sparse and the West Stand virtually empty. A combination of a really bad product on the pitch, admission prices going up despite relegation and a lack of money after Christmas has clearly had an impact. Also a very real prospect of many choosing not to renew for next season. Something had to give, but the timing of it seems wrong. They should've given Danny to the end of the season then acted quickly in the summer if there was no improvement...

    Dear Ben,

I am sorry I missed the Oldham game. I was poorly.
This meant my kids didn't make the game, either.
    I am back now.
    Very sorry.

If there's no tangible improvement between now and the end of the season, especially now we've sacked Wilson, then I certainly won't be purchasing a season ticket, and no doubt lots of others won't either. We've been utterly dreadful for nearly a decade. This season will be the straw that broke the camel's back if things don't change for the better.

I think many are in the same boat. We now have to see real progress and improvement not potential to be good

Sadly and with heavy heart I agree. I pick up a free U12 ticket currently and have a great seat in the East stand that I don't want to give up. I live in S. Bucks so can't get to midweek games and Weekend games cost a lot in terms of travel, drinks and snap. All this AND **** football as a reward mean it could be a game by game ticket for me next year.

With Ben knowing that this would more than likely be asked, wouldn`t it have been smart of him to reveal these figures or does he continually want to be know as ******** Ben.

So published attendances are now not the actual attendance.

In future it would be nice to see the publish attendance along side of the actual attendance and the paying attendance which doesn`t include free child tickets.

Not really noticed any big drop in home support. It's been around 8,500 every game - sometimes a few hundred less if it's crap weather or the Champions League is on TV, sometimes a few more if the weather's decent and there's nowt better to do.
Football has been crap for 10 years so that can't have anything to do with it.

TBF the ponty looked very empty against Fleetwood - and i agree with Ben Mansford - season tickets holders were not attending in the last few games

But because this doesn't effect the announced attendance we wont notice it
