    why all the negativity. can he be any worse tsn parkin, davey, flitcroft or hill i dont think so. im 100% behind him if he gets the job. he was a terrific footballer and did a great at swindon and was doing ok at mackems.

    Why does everyone seem to think that just cause he fell out with players at one club it will happen here? He's a good manager, he's just a lovely person.

    Well i for one are sick of players shitting on us, weve tried the bum chum managers and got nowhere, so what if di canio got on at them? for the last ten or so years weve needed a team fighting on pitch and i think he could bring us that. But hopefully hes learned a thing or two and become a better manager.

    Because footballers all need their egos stroking, and in walks Mr Biggest ego of them all, the dictator. It isn't going to work. At some point it breaks down.

    He did a good job at both though. Kept Sunderland up in a hard season. Like Flitcroft with us.

    That's a very definite statement. Where's the proof?

    He took Sunderland to the bottom of the league and was sacked because the players revolted against him.
