Just listened to Part 1, a fantastic effort, from someone , not there, who became more convinced that the whole thing was a send up. Well done to all involved.

filled in some gaps that i missed form having the red mist decend and brain was in overdrive. A lot of the questions seemed to deviate onto a carefully thought out response - only when he was forced onto something else hes said something he probably really now regrets as the Flitcroft comment is so far off the mark its untrue. Also i dont believe for a second he didnt read the Hassel article on Stones in the chron etc. and what was said about him on here too. They get everything else... So im still having a hard time believing all that.

I am pretty sure they knew Stones was quality but they have dropped a major league bollock. At least he's admitted that but to thrown Don Rowing under the bus when hes not there to defend himself is not really fair. Be interesting to get Don's side of things.

Don't think the players will appreciate the dead fish eyes comments either...

Find the whole Stones / points scoring thing mind boggling & leaves me in no surprise we are in the mess we are in.

    Thanks Dyson for posting.

Fair play to Mr Cryne for being willing to answer some pretty tough questions.

Let's hope we don't sell the rest of our youth squad for peanuts.

Thanks for posting John Stones valuation seems very naive on behalf of club . Agree about points assessment seems baffling. We have a history of selling our best players cheaply Adam Hamill, David Perkins and Jacob Butterfield recently . Avoiding relegation is not much of an ambition . Creating a way of playing from Academy level to first team sounds good but needs quality coaches and technical players hard to find maybe at Championship level.

Perhaps Ricardo Vaz Te would be a better example.

Do you think you should edit out what Mr Cryne said about the Forest game? The chant he referred to. He obviously wasn't comfortable with that bit being recorded.

No. If you start editing things out, you lose context. Where would you stop? I'm sure on reflection he wishes he hadn't said a few things, especially some of the John Stones stuff which made him look a pillock. I'm sure you wouldn't want that to be swept under the carpet. If he'd wanted it editing out, he would have asked. My Dad thought it was the best bit.

He said that bit probably shouldn't be recorded and he was reassured from a couple of people off mic, but I couldn't hear what they said. That's why I brought it up. He was happy to say everything else and happy for it to be recorded even though he knew he would received criticism for it, but he wasn't comfortable about that bit. It's not about losing context or editing things out that don't put him in the best light, it's about addressing the one thing he said he was uncomfortable with being on record.

I don't think the media would be so obliging, so why should the fanzine?
