There can surely be no doubt that the admin and commercial side of the club has become far more professional in appearance. Communication is vastly improved from his predecessor, and he seems fairly sure that he'd have been asking for a bit more than 2.2M for John Stones. It seems to me that Ben is desperate for us to do a little better on the field (which he can't influence much, sadly).

Its a thankless task at times but my own thoughts are that he overall is doing the best he can and we could do much worse.

People like Mansford are always in the firing line when mistakes are made but that's why he gets paid the big bucks.

    It goes with the Territory.

Struck me in the No 7 the other night how lucky we are to have him and the 'suits' don't normally bother me one way or the other. He is switched on, innovative wants to engage with fans and a (mostly) good communicator.

I suspect if you were to ask him about any of the first team/under 21s he would know who they weren't there strengths and weaknesses with an approximate value if we were to sell. A massive improvement.

He has put the team in place to rejuvenate the commercial side of the club and clearly recognises the importance of links to the community.

I think the blokes doing a good job, he's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't.
he's the face of our club, we don't hear from Watkins and apart from last week's meeting we don't hear from cryne so we unfairly put all our gripes and scarce praise to the only guy who faces and communicates with us which is Ben mansford.

Don't get me wrong not everything is turning up roses but the guys improved communication, pr and is trying to give us a voice.

The football side of things is making things look a lot worse than they actually are and dont represent the work and initiatives he's trying to set up.

Try and remember how things have changed , until he came in our communication and image were like something off life on mars!
