Not been to their new ground before and I see on the maps there is a big Tesco Extra across the road from Glanford Park.

Anyone know if there are parking cameras here with restricted time allowed?

Think someone warned about that last time we played there. A lot parked on the grass verges on Doncaster road.

So nobody's done it then? I imagine it will be like at Donny with unrestricted parking in the Lakeside shopping area. Going to have a look anyway

would'nt be a good idea if they did the charge and refund thing in places like this.

enforced only on match days. The Asda in Bridgend near me used to charge a couple of quid or so refundable if you spent over £20 ... most people spend at least that ontheir shopping trip for groceries... it did stop the punters from using it as a car park for the town center which has atrocious parking facilities. There is no Football or Rugby ground there but it has now become like the town centres main car park ... as its now free. So if you are actually going to Asda to do your weekly shop its now almost impossible to park there. Cardiff city is also based in the vicinity of a huge retail park... but the car parks employ the video/parking attendant surveillance... what I am getting at is that surely some sense coul prevail to allow the football parking to be allowed if you buy a ticket. the shoppers would have no real worry as they get theirs refunded... whilst the supporters do not, I mean would you go and buy twenty quids of groceries just to park... and lest face it its not as if it would be every day .. 2 maybe 3 times a month they could activate the parking thing.

Well the answer is that the Tesco IS a camera controlled car park and parking time is limited. Didn't read all the sign but it mentioned match days so decided to pay the £3 to the club car park. Hopefully a quick exit and home with three points!
