    He did alright did Davey IMO. Probably our most memorable period in our last stay in the championship.

    We were in a relegation struggle every year,we had a cup run and that is it , he signed a **** load of players, that everyone seems to think were brilliant, yet we always were at the wrong end of the table, so if the players were so good, why did we finish in relegation battles every year ?

    We survived every year too. The excitement of a successful relegation battle. Some memorable days/nights. The semi final. What did the other managers give us?

    The one after gave us a year where we never looked like we were in any trouble of getting relegated!
    The ones after him were proper cack though !

    It was under Davey for a fair amount of time too. i detested the man, as a person ,not just as a manager, so I am blinkered to anything aid about the Welsh lovely person!.

    Davey always gets hammered on here yet we had some of the most exciting and memorable times under him.

    Sone good times under Davey. I wanted shut at the end but things were all down hill from there.
