The stuff on Ched Bundy is interesting. I would hope that sooner or later, we find out whether Johnson was for or against that potential signing. http://www.owtb.co.uk/index.php/topic/46801-lee-johnson-a-question-for-simon-corney/
I can see why they're annoyed. Receiving 75k for a manager they rated, on a 4 year contract, on the verge of play offs is something as idiotic as we would have done in the past. John who?
I remember at the time lee seemed to be taking the line that he would do what his employers told him regarding ched evans. He was certainly uncomfortable about it all though and it didn't appear to be his choice
I would suggest that we don't start to hit the new manager over the head with the Ched Evans debate before a ball has even been kicked by the team while he has been the manager. If we lose the first few games with LJ as manager and this topic has already raised its head then it will not be long before someone is putting together bad managerial decisions on the pitch and the Ched Evans debate and sort of adding 2 and 2 together and coming up with a ridiculous answer of something like 698. And furthermore regarding the Evans case, which has already been extensively covered on here, a few of us refuse to swallow all the propaganda churned out by a frenetic media whipping up a storm on a hand cart that most of the general public seemed to have limply thrown themselves onto (without actually looking at the facts surrounding the issue). But like I said - its been covered - so lets not go back there. And for goodness sake lets not start throwing mud at a new manager over it.
Oldham press said it and Barnsley Chronicle said the same yesterday. If true we got him fairly cheaply. Those fans that are moaning they got robbed though, I saw plenty who said he should be sacked after they lost to us. Was riding his luck to be so high in the league, took us as far as he can, need someone more experienced who'd make less mistakes, plays the wrong guys etc.
Tell you what, IF he was for signing Evans ( doubt it to be honest) and he wanted to revisit it, if he thought the Oldham reaction was extreme he'd better get a feckin nuclear bunker installed quick for what he would get here!
I'm the least likely to throw mud at the bloke, Nudger. It just doesn't sit well with me the idea that he may have been the driver of that failed move for a convicted rapist and Sheff Utd legend.
My thoughts exactly. It will give our game with them an added interest. We might even make it to the dizzy heights of being the first league one game on the FL show that night.
Agree wi that Nudge.. But I fear its bound to happen. As seen recently some of our fan base ask for truth, get it with nobs on, from the horses mouth and still don't believe it. What people dont get is by a attacking part of the club, it cannot, not affect the Hole.

That... people waiting in the wings for the first chance to jump on the club/manager because it doesn't fit with there delusion..
I was thinking the same. Paragraph one I agree with whereas I think paragraph two is a load of old crap.
"I would suggest that we don't start to hit the new manager over the head with the Ched Evans debate before a ball has even been kicked by the team while he has been the manager. I think that bit's more than reasonable. Until such time as he's asked directly as to his thoughts at the time, it's unhelpful speculation.
Stand by what I said. No mud slinging, no speculating, just a hope for clarity on the issue because personally I find rape an appalling crime, and wouldn't like the idea that our manager (whichever one we're employing this year) would be interested in signing a convicted rapist.
It is absolutely of no interest to me which players LJ may have or may not have signed when he was at his previous club. If asked a specific question about a certain player I guess LJ would not commit himself anyway. Whitey, why on earth are you digging up this topic again?
