    I used to live in Hoyland , I used a lot of the Inns there . I did use the Furnace down in Milton and I did know the owner. Now onetime he was taken to court for serving under aged drinkers... it was based on a small group of 3 girls. He told me summat one thing that is very interesting. Apparently at the court hearing the girls appeared in their school uniforms no make up no provocative clothing or jewellery.. he pleaded that if you had seen them on any night they came in his place .. with make up fashion clothing jewellery then you would never once taken a second thought as to their age. I see almost every time I go into a super market or city/town center young girls, and I am saying juniors under 12... that are dressed like Lady bloody GAGA. Then you get their parents coming on when a child is abused bemoaning the situation and they cannot understand why their little Britney or Sharia or whatever other stupid tarty name they gave them was targeted. Its time we let our young ones have a childhood instead of trying to make them MINI ME's .

    FACT... go and talk to him now... I do believe its the same publican .Also this event was about 10 years or so ago . I will also give you witness too.. My cousin Dennis Crowther had to attend the hearing, too and give evidence... so before you RUBBISH people try and get facts it may help.

    Graham Rix did time for having sex with a 15 year old....and He pulled her in a nightclub...apparently she looked 20 something..doesn't make it right but its not always child abuse...IMO

    So you're making a comparison between underage lasses trying to get served in a pub and a 27 year old new father having sex with a fifteen year old.

    I reckon his partner will stand by him though.

    I agree, but if you pull a bird in a nightclub, then you expect her to be old enough, thats all I'm saying..you're not going to ask for ID are you Conan..its not always black and white.

    There should be some mitigation if he has met her in an establishment for over 18s and he has been misled as to her age. Shouldn't there? A 15 year old lass can easily look early 20s.

    Just throwing it out there, I have no idea of the facts here.

    I'm not talking about Johnson. I'm just saying what happened to Rix...until we know the facts then we can't really comment..He's a scumbag for cheating on his wife/partner? YES! did He know she was underage?..if so then put him in a cell with Glitter and Hall....lets get the full facts first.

    Mmm, I once had a kiss and a cuddle with a girl in a nightclub in Brighton, until she told me she was 16 (I was only around 25 at the time, so it wasn't like last week or anything!), so I get your point. She could have told me she was 22 or 23 and I would have believed her. However, Rix did a little more than that IIRC and carried on a relationship with the 15 year old, openly bragging to workmates at the football club, so I have little sympathy for him.

    Certainly now I'm in my mid-40s it's gone the other way and I think 24-25 year olds all look 16!

    I don't think that's right, Rix pleaded guilty to one account of indecent assault in his flat and one of having sex with her 6 weeks later in a hotel , from recollection wasn't she a daughter of a friend/ Chelsea employee
