    I've got sympathy if he did pull her in a bar / club cos I've got a mate who was getting with a lass in a nightclub when we were about 20 and I would've guessed she was around the same age but when we were going to the taxi rank he got talking with her & found out her real age & ****ed off. Lucky escape.

    If he's genuinely targeted a 15 year old then he deserves all that's coming to him.

    I'm sure the truth will come out, it does virtually every time,

    Would it? I've known girls 15 who if you heard them talk would think they were in their 30's. I've also known women in their 30's who you would think were 15 (at most) from what they say and how they act.

    The simple fact is it can be very hard to tell a girls age without outright asking her. Make up can take years off or add years on, so can the choice of clothing that they wear and their conversation varies significantly from person to person and the idea that they all conform to the stereotype of loud and immature is as believable as Danny Wilson's claim that he played a wide formation against Fleetwood.

    If he's found guilty of sexual activity with a 15 year old he'll get same treatment as dirty ched, and never work again, at least if he knew she was under 16 he'll deserve everything he gets, if she's lied about her age, then he'll still get same treatment but it'll be a bitter pill for lad to swallow .

    I did exactly the same in Whispers back in the day when I was 21ish. Was just chatting up this girl, who was a cousin of an 18-year old friend. It was only when she casually mentioned she was studying for her GCSEs that the penny dropped...

    only one person could be sure of her age and that was her,so in my view she should be held accountable too,she broke the law as much as he did,especially if she lied and told him she was older,it is practically entrapment.

    That's what happened to me in Brighton. Was with this girl who was in a group of girls and asked what the occasion was that had brought a large group of them out. She said they were celebrating their exam results. I asked her how she'd done and she told me she got 8 grade As. For a split second I thought I was the luckiest bloke in Brighton, because not only was she drop dead gorgeous she was also a genius. I very quickly realised that even Stephen Hawking probably didn't get 8 A grade A levels, so tentatively asked if she meant GCSEs. She said yes, so I said "so that makes you how old?" When she said 16 I quickly rounded up my two mates, who were with mates of hers and suggested we head to the bar for a chat!
