Talks football instead of cliches and sound bites.

    Very refreshing.

Got a sense of humour as well - was on about him going in the wrong dugout tonight and having to moonwalk to the right one and style it out lol

Like what i see so far and long may the run continue.

Only time will tell though - lets see how he speaks after our first loss, first hammering and first bad run.... but lets concentrate on the good run for now! Its a been a long time since we've felt this winning feeling.

new brush innit. bottom line is, result and performances are what count. i remember flicker sounding like winston churchill while we were winning. the same comments sounded a bit ridiculous when we weren't. if we lose the next 3 games, it will all change again..

Flicker was a barmpot win, loose or draw.
It was top quality ****** every time he opened his gob. That season when we stayed up was a bit good though.

    He's won me over already.

Clearly an intelligent man & I feel we could be about to turn the corner.

It's going to be a haul to get back to being the Barnsley FC of the 80's & 90's, but it is still possible.

Liked how he talked about that he was about to stick another striker and to keep them pushed back towards the end. (Jos tight hamstring stopped that) in order to push them back. Defend from the front. Tidy

I agree, stark contrast to what a lot of Oldham fans were saying though.

Nice to have a chant of 'Johnson give us a wave' already too.
