    Great stuff !!!

Question for you.........why has the club got a problem with the right hand side of the Ponti...............but when any Barnsley player scores a goal at that side of the ground these are the fans that the scorer first runs to?

It seems..........most disliked by the directors..........but most loved by the players

The problem area is at the back right of the Ponti End.

Waring seemed to be running toward the corner stand where I believe may be where his partner / wife or family were watching from.

This is probably true of most celebrations in that corner. For their families benefit, not really aimed at the fans.

A player is cautioned and shown the yellow card if he commits any of the following seven offences:

    • unsporting behaviour
    • dissent by word or action
    • persistent infringement of the Laws of the Game
    • delaying the restart of play
    • failure to respect the required distance when play is restarted with a corner kick, free kick or throw-in
    • entering or re-entering the field of play without the referee's permission
    • deliberately leaving the field of play without the referee's permission

Doesn't every player leave the pitch when scoring

Such a shame that s player gets booked for scoring a goal
Why doesn't the referee just stop his watch until the game is started again

I loved his passion when he scored

Thanks cambstyke. I've been to two funerals in the last 2 weeks (my nan's and husband's auntie's) and I've realised football just isn't that important.

So sorry to hear of your problems. To lose one much loved family member is bad enough, but to lose two must be particularly difficult for you. You're right, of course, football just isn't that important.

Sorry to hear that. Do like your postings on here so glad to see you're back. Know how hard it is at times like this and football take a back seat. Hope you can get some enjoyment for rest of season.

So sorry to hear that, JD. Sincere condolences to you and your families.

You are obviously right. Football pales into insignificance in such circumstances. But at the same time, football can unite people. I have been so impressed by the support on here shown when people have suffered the death of loved ones. So I hope the BBS can give you some support too.
