Re: here ya go He's rated highly if you have a read on the Cardiff City forum. A few think he's a bit suspect defensively though.
Re: here ya go I was very much behind Danny right to the end, but I did always find it strange that he brought in several players and none of them were a left back. I think we have missed Dudgeon almost as much as the likes of Winnall and Williams. Smith look like he's got a bright future, but big ask for him to go straight in and play 90 minutes every game.
Re: here ya go I agree with us recruiting another lad for that area. But it'd be harsh on Smith if he's dropped having featured in four successive clean sheets/victories. Knowing that John was actually a left winger by trade had me assuming he'd play in front of George on the wing, instead of Lalkovic. But seems not. Brave of LJ to change a winning back four. Honeymoon period will end tomorrow if we concede/lose.

Re: here ya go I hope he doesn't replace Smith in the starting 11 - he's done well and 4 clean sheets is almost unheard of for us. No matter how good this guy is, if this is a loan I don't see the point. Why develop other team's players when we've got a promising young LB ourselves. The only way I can see the sense in this is if Smith is too tired/ not ready to play every game. Even then he needs to be back in the team towards the end of the season. Actually, don't we have another promising left back? Templeton? Is he too young to throw in there? SICK OF LOANS
Re: here ya go If he's injured that's different. But as much as we need left back cover it seems silly to think Smith can't play 90 minutes every game and yet looking at someone else who's of similar age. If John can Smith can. Be harsh to drop Smith off the back of our best defensive run in ages.
Re: here ya go This loan makes perfect sense. We only have one left back at the club. Johnson knows what hes doing I doubt hes just going to dump Smith on the back of 4 clean sheets.
