    What are the rules on numbers of loanees these days?

    With Ibehre and John, I make it that we have six (Ramage, Pearson, O'Sullivan and Waring) and I thought you could only play five at once?

    Hope it doesn't mean Pearson isn't staying - I'd rather keep him than the other five.

    I'm not sure if there's any ruling on how many you can have in total but yeah it's definitely five in a match day squad.

    Ok, thanks. With Ramage out it's not an issue at the moment then.

    How many can be on the field of play at the same time? I recall Wilson saying he wouldn't have more Loanees than were allowed to play but I don't know how many can actually play. Can we play 5 loanees?

    52.2.1 A maximum of 5 loan Players (Standard, International, Emergency or Youth) can be named in the Players listed on a team sheet for any individual match played under the auspices of The League. *This figure shall include any additional loan of a goalkeeper approved by the Executive under the provisions of Regulation 54

    5 in match day squad. 8 overall. Sure that Johnson said in his press conference that it's not ideal to have more than 5 as someone ends up missing out each week. Wonder what that means once Ramage is fit. You'd probably have to say he'd be the one to miss out given how strong we've been in defence recently... Unless they already know they won't renew one of the one monthers
