I feel same as you pal, Rotherham are doing it now it'll end one way same as it did for us relegation, hoping we continue to recruit like we are but feel if we sneer up this season we'll return to type,
So we can have a chat at Brisbane Road then? Excellent. I have seen 2 attractive games at Oakwell this season. Notts County and Bristol City.
You go where you like. With your plan. I'll be a season ticket holder no matter what . You seem more loyal to your plan rather than your club.
As I thought Albert Fairweather. Not my plan the owners plan as per his talk at the number 7. You have no loyalty whatsoever other than to a manager you like or don't.
Loyalty to my club. Nothing else. Who gives a toss what people say in a pub? You're making things all too complicated. With your plan.
I will witness your loyalty at Brisbane Road then can't wait. We need to do things differently or perhaps you see the last 10 years as a massive success story. Maybe beating Wallsall at home is the pinnacle of your ambitions for our club.
Last 10 years we have been in the championship and league 1. I don't think thats too bad considering how much money other clubs have pumped in. Sometimes you get lucky on a budget like ours and sometimes you don't.
Luckily I'm too daft to understand that. We have a set course base around developing and integrating young players then optimising their resell value whilst adding value to the team. It's not an easy road and doesn't link into a particular team. If this is the route we follow I'm on board. If we revert to type I'm not. That's my choice as a consumer of the business model. I will still go to away games it if we just go back to the mistakes of the last 10 years it's not for me. Don't see what my personal choices have to do with you. And you will be on the Johnson out wagon while I'm still supporting my team.
The last 7 years I. The championship were utterly miserable. If we go up but don't do things differently it'll be just the same.
Errrrrrrr....but you only support your team if it follows your business model? I'll leave you with that. I have no loyalty to managers I admit - they come and go, get well paid, and do not always leave because we ask them to (ask Mr Wilson about that one - he's seen both sides of that coin now). Anyway, the thread asked about renewing. I always will. Plan or no plan.
Renewing unless you don't like the manager. No loyalty to anything or anyone. The Sky TV generation of fans.
Don't disagree and thats fair enough as I've been totally fed up with it too but we have to build a team to our budget to compete with teams on similar, bigger and sometimes a much bigger budget. This said doesn't give us any right to be better or worse than the next team. Building a team around the youth is fantastic if it works but there's no guarantees. All you can do is trust the manager to pick out the good ones and feed them in so they can learn. The older players can be more helpful when the chips are down due to their experience.
Lads just enjoy the current run of wins. It's way too soon to be getting into debates into whether sacking Wilson / hiring Johnson was good / bad. Give it a few months & see how it goes
Well i think its already proved to be a good decision, With Wilson we was shocking and just a few points from relegation places with no signs of improvement, now we are only out of playoff places due to goal difference.
