For any academy to be succesful ( producing first team players) there needs to be a production line below the 18s. With perceived bigger category 2 academys on the door step..Leeds Uddrsfield the tuesdays and blunts have we strength in depth in the younger age groups?

absolutely no idea personally mate, the one lad I can think of on here who seemed to know a lot about the younger players doesn't post anymore.

If it's who I think you mean he would certainly have given an opinion, not sure I'd have given it much weight though.

The 16's have a decent amount of under 15's playing for them most of the time but they've had a fair amount of trialist's and still haven't told them if any are being signed but I think 2 or 3 will be. One of the 16's 'Chunk' got told he'd been given a scholarship very early because he regularly plays with the 18's and I believe he has or has been called up to the England setup.

The 16's that have been given scholarships are for the most part good, especially the 2 centre halves in my opinion. A lot of the 15's I think are looking more promising going into the next age group so some good ones to look out for.
The 14's seem to be a bit more on the iffy side but still have a lot of maturing to do first as the 15's/16's games are much more aggressive.

My younger brother is in the 15's age group and regularly features up with the 16's but has played with the 14's before as the 15's don't have scheduled games. They did however smash Bradford 1-4 last week.

Hope this reads okay as I'm writing this up on my phone aha!
