It's going to be funny seeing how people wear them to say, you know, look at my Apple Watch, just as people always seemed to have their iPhone in their hand when they first came out! I haven't worn a watch for about 10 years, don't think I could anymore so I very much doubt I'll be investing in this or any other so-called smart watch. Really can't see these taking off to be honest.
I may actually disown any friend of mine if they get one. Why on earth would anyone need another gadget on their wrist? Bonkers.
get a pebble watch, there exactly the same and cheaper or better yet dont bother at all, why have a watch that you can get texts on and receive phone calls, its another lazy git gadget soon they will tell me they want to make cars drive themselves...........
The mrs got me a Sony smart watch for Christmas. Only had it on about 5 times. It looks the part, and is quite handy for changing songs while driving(when i'm streaming from my phone to car sound system). But the big problem is the battery life, i think the Sony battery is a bit better than apple's, but at about 21 hours i cant be arsed putting it on charge all the time. If it had a way of charging using solar power, or even a way to harness the kinetic energy when you move(like some other normal watches do), then i think it would be a lot more useful.
There's a shop in Dodworth where you can watch batteries fitted, according to the sign in the window.
