Think theres more chance of a new stadium getting built before we get a new scoreboard. Club obviously don't see it as a priority as much as some fans do.

Somebody asked if we could sort the bulbs while we get a new one. Ben is passing that over to Barry.

Can't say I blame them tbh. It'll be a novelty to look at for about half an hour then it'll become just a part of the ground. When I go to away games to grounds with a good scoreboard I barely look at it, generally only to check the match clock.

Sure they said something about the positioning of the scoreboard is affected by the wind?

Oakwell has always been a windy ground, wonder if it would be possible to enclose the northeast corner in some way if that's bothering them?

I on the other hand go straight to meadowhall after games with good scoreboards and buy everything that was advertised on it that day. Bit like generation game trying to remember it all mind but still, great fun ;)

Agreed. A better (and probably cheaper) bet would be a dirty great super speed wireless network system with repeaters all over the ground, so we can all get on the internet with our specially developed BFC APP with live scores, tables, adverts etc. I'd even be willing to pay a reasonable fee for that if it could be seen to work.

I my little world, I know more supporters that don't see it as a priority than those that do.

I get it. Obviously Club don't think the cost vs benefits are worth it. Despite being **** it's outlasted many BFC managers.

i've resigned myself to the fact that we'll not get it replaced now, until we get promoted. i just wish the club would come out and say that

I don't see it as a priority but I do feel the old one is such a joke that they'd be better pulling the plug on it.
