Was queuing to get in the car park at the ground and heard "STOP HIM" being shouted. A lad in a white jogging style top maybe late teens was then chased from behind the away end onto the main road by about three stewards, two cops and another two cops on horses. Nobody else seemed to be with him so it looks like just the one guy. It happened just after two o clock in view of plenty of people.
Found out from the police.........he had drugs in a kinder egg. stopped and searched at the entrance. ********.
Yes and I've got my eyes on you so be careful out there............ ..........we just saw the incident; ie the little ******** sprinting off like usain bolt and we then asked a friendly member of the Greater Manchester Police fraternity what was going on and he told us. .......but yes you're probably right. It was keen and astute detective work by us.

Cheers for that. It did look funny so many people after the one person trying to sprint away into the main road behind the Chaddy End where that mini roundabout is.
I was just driving into the Car Park when he set off sprinting, I handed over the fiver but couldn't move after because I had a police horse stood in front of my car
Haha yeah that fan ended up holding up the queue. I hope the Chron picks up on the story so we can find out what happened.
