    Play-offs would already be assured.

    Big fan of Danny Wilson, but he made a mistake there. Turnbull is a great keeper, but not when he's injured.

    16 games, 13 goals conceded, 7 clean sheets (not included his 17 minute sub appearance in the 2-0 win over Orient at Oakwell). Not bad. And 5 of those goals were in the one game against MK Dons.

    Turnbull has 5 clean sheets from 22 games, 36 goals conceded.


    Only league games accounted for.

    He was top quality tonight. Totally different player to the one that started the season. Though he had already improved when he was dropped for Turnbull I think we would have lost today with Turnbull in goal

    I suspect that's a bit of a tongue in cheek statement from you Jay.
    To be assured of a play off place we would have needed a minimum of 12 more points. There's no way can you attribute losing that many points to Turnbull.
    In fact I can't really think of a game we would have won had we had a different keeper apart from Davies on his debut.

    Good question. I think the talent was always there, but Mark has helped bring it out as well as helping him with his self belief & confidence.

    Reight player. Turnbull I imagine is one of our biggest earners so we should probably look at getting him off the wagebill in the summer rather than a number 2 keeper taking up so much of the budget.
