11,464 since July 2005 Say 116 months = 99 per month... mainly in the first few years. As an aside the site will have been active 10 years in July and I think I was the first member after Gally. (not that it means 'owt but it is the nearest thing I've got to a claim to fame )

Only joined 3 weeks ago. Still a lot to learn, but really enjoying the banter between all other members.
With my Pedants hat on I thought we both joined when the new BBS was launched mid July 2005 we are now mid March 2015 so 4 months shy of 10 years so I get that at 116 months So for me 116 months 16646 posts = 143 posts per month around 5 per day - but It was a lot higher in 2005 than it is today - now I can go several days without a single post then I have a rush when I have a bit of time
If you go on your profile, and click about me you can see your daily rate Mine is 1.09 a day, or 33 a month
I couldn't be arsed working out how many months it was so now Farnham has worked it out.... 116 months, 29,381 posts = 253ish a month. So about 8 or 9 a day. Reckon there was many a time it was well over 20 a day, particularly when a certain flatulent person frequented the board! Really tailed off over the last couple of years.
I'm crap at maths. I go in stages these days. I lost the will to even look at the BBS for the last couple of months of Danny's tenure. Couldn't do with reading so much unfair criticism about a man I admire so much. Those with anything sensible to say were drowned out by the constant griping. But the majority of those with an axe to grind have all but disappeared now. The board is now full of people who simply want to see us do well, with no agenda of any sort. Some may have preferred Danny to stay, some may have thought it right that he left, but all just want us to win under the new manager. It's like a different place entirely and I've found myself posting a lot more because it's fun to do so again. Not getting nearly as much done like, so will have to remedy that, but it's nice to enjoy being a Barnsley fan again. That never really went away for me on match day. We only lost 1 home game in the league all winter and although the performances weren't anything to write home about, the company before and during the game was always good. The rest of the week, reading this board, was like a nightmare.
Total Posts 21,443 Posts Per Day 7.28 I lost a couple of thousand on the move from the old board too. I don't post as much as I used to so I imagine the daily rate would have been higher at times.
If you go into your profile and click 'About Me', it gives you your posts per day figure, just over 5 mine.
