There is no way of bringing sanity back to football when people like yourself think that how you do. Most footballers are overpaid - end of.

I've got to start watching the games more closely. I like the look of Scowen. He seems like a good addition to the squad and other than giving the ball away for the 5th at Crawley (which didn't really matter by that time anyway), I've seen him do very little wrong. Good signing, should serve us well and may go on to play at a higher level if he keeps up his form or excel at a higher level if he continues to improve. Hopefully that will be with us.

But the way he's written about on here it's like he's superman crossed with Lionel Messi. I think he's a good laiker, but I'm yet to see this player everyone keeps talking about. I'm probably wrong, I certainly seem to be in the minority, but I see a good league 1 player working hard, trying to improve, who might be capable of another step up, while everyone else appears to see Ronaldo.

Would you pay an increase in your ticket price by 20% to give him a pay rise?

No not at the moment due to the quality of the product on the pitch, but I'd sacrifice any other player in the squad to keep him, one thing I would be happy to pay 20% extra on my season ticket to get is a new grounds man and give him a good budget to play with if that means the style of football changed to due to this increase, and then maybe I would pay £350/£375 a season to enable us to pay players like Scowen a increased wage to bring him inline with his true worth to keep him at the club a little longer, but at the moment no I don't think I would be happy paying more then the £300 a season that I already do,

2 grand a week, never mind 10 is too much in this league,100k a year for laikin fcukin football ffs.

and dont give me 'they only have a short career' ******,they should train for another job while they play football, its not my job as a football supporter to pay ridiculous wages just so they can do **** all after reaching 35.

obscene wages have ruined the game for all but the privaledged few.

He's nowhere near earning 10 for us, next season when a team above snaps him up though he probably will be.

Like the look of him but far too early to say that he can play at a higher level. Dawson had his good patches (In the Championship) and people like me compared Gary Jones to Neil Redfearn.

    Early days yet...
