Worked their ba11s off today.. The way PNE liked to play, maybe better that Pearson and Scowen dint play, may not have lasted the 90 mins

i think i watch a different player to everyone else. the conor i watched, seemed to spend most of the game giving the ball away. i think we would have won that game today, with pearson & scowen

I think they both did well. Bailey was very tidy.

It'll be interesting to see if Johnson tries to accommodate Pearson, Scowen, Horrihane and Bailey.

Does that mean that Hourihane and Bailey are fitter than Pearson and Scowen?

Agree, they were both very good today, particularly Bailey. He was nice on the ball and put himself about, a contender for man of the match for me but O'Sullivan definitely deserves it.

Both Hourihane and Bailey are notable for their unpredictability.

They could do summat good or they could do summat awful. Or nowt much. Every time they get it.

Which is why they play in this league.

Thought Conor's general competitive play was excellent shame his dead all delivery fell below his usual standards.

He does ponce about in challenges though and looks uncomfortable on the ball unless he's kicking it a long way. Some of his lay offs for others are pub league.

Not sure he fully knows what's gonna happen when his foot makes contact with the ball.

There's summat golden in there but ..........

If Scowen and Pearson had been in the team, I'd have fancied us to win today. Bailey and Hourihane both played well, but both gave the ball away a fair bit.

I thought Bailey was decent today but it wasn't one of Conors best games for us.

I though Bailey was poor, miss placed passes in bite in the tackle.

No, I think he was suggesting that Pearson and Scowen don't shy away from their tackling and the Preston players would have got them sent off, as they tried to do with Cranie.
