what about the save he made when he hurt one of his legs? he jumped and saved it from behind him if i remember

i think it was one of his last matches if not his last

    Abit of realism here
It was straight at him. It was luck more than owt else. Either side of him n it was a certain goal. It was straight at him more than he saved it

I have to admit that was the way I saw it too. Hit him in the chest I think. Good keeper though

Agree, but the rate at which he is improving is unbelievable.

I'm struggling to think of a comparable save. Just amazing.

im surprised some nugget hasnt complained that "his kicking will cost us one day"

I though all our keepers were judged on here how far and accuratly they kick it.

I would. He's a great shot stopper and his distribution is generally good, but he's still learning how to command his box and consequently doesn't always make things easy for himself or claim crosses. The magnificent save he made was necessary because he punched a cross out quite weakly moments before. Don't get me wrong I'm pleased with how he's been playing, but let's not get ahead of ourselves.

Don't agree it was just luck. He seems to have a knack of being in the right position a couple of other saves he made looked easy because he was in the right place and he did brilliantly to get it over the bar great reaction.

It it was a very good save maybe not quite as good as some are saying above in this thread

You misunderstand me. I don't think he'll be in a PL side but he's very young for a gk and would be worth a 5 year contract for a PL club. They can develop him, or try at least. Steele played for posh before man utd signed him. Hart for Shrewsbury. Him being English works in his favour, it got Turnbull a CL winners medal.

I thought we got him from the biggest club in the world so he's been there and done it.

That's the one that sprung to my mind. Against Preston too wasn't it? Last minute.

Good keeper. We're in Division three. If he was brilliant in every area, he wouldn't be with us. Doubt there's many better in this league

Fantastic save, we were sat directly behind the goal and my mate West Ham Dave was bouncing up and down like Tigger when he made the stop :)
