I've mentioned this before but I have a massive fear of flying and was just wondering of anyone else has bought one of these dvds that apparently help you get over you fear or at least knock it down a scale? If not has anyone got any other ways of making flying a bit easier to deal with? I've tried drinking when at the airport and tablets but both made the fight even worse.
Virgin Atlantic fear of flying course. 100% cured. Our lass tried everything, hypnosis, Valium the lot, terrified at the thought of it! She went online and found Virgin course at Manchester airport. It was a one day course which includes a flight and open questions to regular pilots who sit with you during the flight and explain every bump and noise. Cant tell you how it's changed ours and the kids life, especially as we all like holidays abroad. Do it, you won't regret it I promise.
Your doctor will give you some diazepam for it if you are needing a quick fix, you'll still be apprehensive but it should definitely take the fear away.
Face your fears. Sign up for a wing-walk or a parachute jump for charity. It will cure you... if you don't die in the process
My uncle has a fear of flying so we looked up some flight statistics before we went on holiday two years back. Did you know that more people die each year from falling off of donkeys than people are injured in plane releated incidents?
Statistics are great. I once read that 90% of people that die in plane accidents eat pickles. Tell him to leave out the pickles and his survival rate rockets.
I thought you were taking the piss. Unfortunately not. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/w...-flight-down-in-southern-france-10129817.html Poor buggers
don't worry about it Mr D Red....thas got to die of summat and it will be a lot quicker than suffering with summat else in the future glad I helped
Its not the flying you should be scared of ! Its the ground !! No-one dies while flying its hitting the ground that kills you, but no-one ever says they are scared of the ground ?
I have a fear of heights and I decided to do an abseil. It only helped in reaffirming the fact that yes, I am indeed scared of heights.
I've got loads of videos at home that will take your mind off flying. Bung us your address Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I remember talking to Gordon Shephard a few years ago about flying and I told him about my brother who loved his holidays but was scared every time he boarded a plane. He recommended some tablets for my brother to take. I asked him if they were good and he said yes there the ones he took when flying. He then also told me he had been a pilot in the Royal Navy.
