This does my nut in ! Why would there be no Barnsley FC ? Of course there would be, it might not be in this division, but there would still be a Barnsley FC ! It was not Cryne that kept BFC from going out of business, that was Doyle, but that is a different story ! I agree with the rest of your post though about the idiots.
Fair enough. There would have been a Barnsley FC. Just not as we currently know it or at this level. Yes we could have got back there. I just am a bit overly passionate about the investment both monetary and otherwise that the Crynes made into our club.
I doubt a vocal minority is making him question his future as our owner and the future of his family within the club. He will know he can't please everyone all the time and that the vast majority appreciate what he's done for us.
What the **** is wrong with some of our fans? I really do despair about the anti social morons that think this is acceptable behaviour.
I believe constructive criticism of Patrick Cryne's tenure at BFC is fair enough. You may disagree and that's fair enough. I thought Dyson's questioning of his son's role during the No 7 interview was fair enough. I think any abuse his son or daughter have received is outrageous.
Agree entirely. On the James issue I think Patrick deserves a fair bit of critisicm for his handling of the whole situation but James himself is completely innocent. Deserves no abuse at all. And anyone abusing Olivia needs their balls cutting off. She's one of the nicest lasses around and one of the biggest Barnsley fans too irrespective of her relationship with the crynes.
Cryne did at least make a joke Olivia would be better at picking team than James. It wasn't all gloomy.
A combination of personal verbal attacks on Cryne family on some forums, tweets, events, on public transport. Albeit we seem to recognise <1% of fans. I say fans...
They're fans when they're buying tickets. Assume this will be after the Crawley game when anger was at it's height. Emotions & ale do stupid things to stupid people. If Mr Cryne is using that as a barometer of opinion then he's not the man I believe him to be.
So more than 99% support him (or at least haven't resorted to personal attacks) Not condoning any personal attack on him or his family, but surely his record in charge has to be a topic of discussion at least ? If we get to the point where we daren't discuss in critical fashion what's happening because the owner might chalk f.ck on it then we are in bother. IF he's getting personal abuse at home, by mail or his son is, then I wouldn't blame him for walking away. Are you saying that is what is happening/has happened ? I think I've seen a couple of people on that Facebook site have a go - but they soon got shouted down by the majority.
So did Patrick he was quite complimentary about how it was handled at the Old No 7. I don't think PC has a problem with Constructive criticism either.
