The stuff about John stones and James cryne is interesting. I can't help but think though that both of these issues have been caused solely by the club. The fans have been asking for a definitive answer on both for absolutely ages and yet its taken till now for a proper answer to be given. If they had given this answer about stones a year ago then a lot of I'll feeling would have been avoided. If he had given this answer about James months ago then the same applies.

Hopefully Patrick and Ben will both have learnt a big lesson about the importance of clarity and openness.

Great to hear that the planning application was just to keep the council happy. I wonder what their valuation of the land is and how much it would cost for fans to purchase the land.

I'd be very interested to understand when this abuse of James took place. If it did, completely unacceptable.

One other thing - so James was involved with transfers over the Summer? Without listening back didn't Mr Cryne make it explicitly clear he wasn't?

Also, we're using that system to identify targets & then scouting them? When did that system come into place? Be interested if it was the Summer how we scouted Hourihane after for example.

 

What's the obsession with how we recruit, Dyson?

Appears it's working well. Struggling to understand the clamber to be told everything the club is doing in transfers. Can't some successful ways of recruiting be the private business of the club if not to stop others copying?

Pre 7 at 7 and post 7 I've understood this Season the club have looked at the wealth of stats out there to accompany watching players I.e. Scouting.

The exact stats and numbers crunched and the spreadsheet used and its creater don't feel like important things to me - Espexially when it throws up players like Scowen, Hourihane, O'Sullivan. If was Kevin Dixon and the like then let's be worried

 

Did it throw up Reece Brown, Leroy Lita, Alex Kiwomya & Keith Treacy too?

And I understand that - but I'm just confused whether the stats are identifying the players to watch or vice versa? Because 2 months ago we were told, on the record & available to listen back to, that we only check high level data & there's no statistical approach.
