    Sheff utd have reported 5420 sold earlier and we have around 7500 season tickets plus half season ones so 2000 extra paying matchday isnt impossible...

    When I tried to get two seats together in ponte yestdi there was only below m avalible with two together looked like it had been selling well and still till friday to sell hope we can get 17k big game for both teams really must win for us if we want fifth place

    I'd agree. I hope we sell an additional 5k minimum. Biggest game of the season so far.

    4k additional would give us a total attendance of 17500, 8000 season tickets 5500 blunts and 4000 extra reds glad they have sold out though. Nowt worse than seeing 250 in a 5500 stand one thing I miss about championship least teams like leeds forest derby wendys ect would bring good support and make for decent atmosphere

    Making this game all ticket WILL have an affect on the attendance. I reckon at least another 1000 would decide to go on the day if it was pay at the gate as usual.

    There's been plenty in the media about it being all ticket and ample time to purchase tickets in advance for home fans so the decision looks a good one!

    Maybe for a normal everyday game but for a huge South Yorkshire derby of significant importance i'm sure most will know by friday if they are going to turn up or not. I do wonder if we will give them some West Stand to stop the chance of some of them trying to get in home ends and because they have sold so many so soon.

    It was all ticket for the Chelsea match a few years ago and everyone seemed to get a ticket ok in advance of the game..... So anybody wanting to go can get a ticket in advance! Should be a good turn out but I don't get the pay on the day people will knock a chunk off of our attendance thing because they have had a month or so to get one booked....
