Absolutely brilliant for nerds. I got 10/10 for the first part and 7/10 for the second. http://www.theguardian.com/football...otball-stadiums-then-and-now-interactive-quiz http://www.theguardian.com/football...adiums-then-and-now-interactive-quiz-part-two
Incredible isn't it? Even Filbert Street seems to retain the basic shape of a football ground. Where the Victoria Ground stood, from that angle you'd never know anything had ever been there.
You've probably seen this before but this is the most amazing one:- http://pitchinvasion.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/05/cathkin-park.jpg
No, I hadn't. Cheers for posting, that's utterly bizarre. If I'm ever in Glasgow I'll check that out, it's slightly eerie. Especially as the capacity was 50,000!
7 and 6 but I should have done better on a couple of them loved the photo of the players surrounding the ref Looks like Man Utd have been doing this since at least the days of Charlton and Best
8/10 7/10 , love to see old grounds with their own character rather than the generic bowls we have to endure nowadays.
