as anyone int tarn got a easier job then these two in the next four week ? They can put all their day to day work off, to concentrate on getting reelected lol, and just put their feet up, angry birds, and patience will be getting some hammer on their phones & iPads they'll need charging twice a day. People on the dole will be doing more work for their money,
You could could say that for any politician in a safe seat. However, it won't be the case for any of them. They'll all be busy campaigning.
Technically, both are currently unemployed candidates and they will need to work hard to keep on the parliamentary gravy train.
Loads want UKIP yr before an election, the support rapidly drops as the vote gets nearer. Bit like the dynamic for the Scottish referendum. People realise what the consequences could be.
Well I consider myself a 'natural' Labour voter but I certainly won't be voting for Jarvis. He spouts the same bland Labourite philosophy as do the rest of the establishment of the party and like them as offered little in the way of support to the poor/disadvantaged in the last 5 years. I went on strike, as a teacher two years ago as a stand against the erosion of my pension rights and as a public sector employee I wrote a letter to Jarvis asking for him to support teachers, Unison employees and other public sector employees. He kindly wrote back through his PA saying I shouldn't be on strike and basically teaching was a vocation and I should be proud to work as a teacher regardless of pay and conditions. Disgraceful in my eyes for a Labour man to say that. What does the Party call itself 'Labour' for if it's not to defend working people against corporate/ideological attacks?
Ex-miner I now employ 6 people Always voted Labour - big admirer of Tony Blair - a Labour leader that represented all sections of British society. I will be voting UKIP at the next general election - because there is no one else to vote for. So lets go through them one by one: Labour - only interested in the POOR and needy. They are not talking to or representing the people that work and pay taxes that gives the Government money to pay for Government projects - in the case of Labour; frivolous Government projects. Conservatives - a long front row bench of Eton educated posh boys (and NO, UKIP have not got the same type of front row as the Conservatives) Liberals - change political direction with the wind Greens - out and out liars. I'm an environmentalist and would love to vote for these but they are just out to con the British people - especially with their energy policy. No one in their right mind would want to cover the British countryside with wind turbines. Wind turbines are inefficient and their carbon footprint is enormous.
M Laughing like fook at this post. Tony Blair, slightly watered down Tory, Nigel Farage, oh I'm stopping now my sides are aching.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aILNgbEmGo8 Yay - brilliant...........but what the foook that has to do with Ed Miliband only God knows
Labour these days is not a Labour Party I recognise. Blair was not a Labour man. He was a Tory sitting in a Labour Govt. It's no wonder Labour are starting to lose ground in traditional heartlands like Scotland. They are doomed as a party if they continue down their Neo-Tory route. They've lost me for starters.
Voting UKIP because there is no one else then proceeding to discuss them one by one, leaving UKIP out. Ahem. So what is the most environmentally friendly energy source? I imagine you don't have an electric car nor solar either.
Hahahahaha..........yes its hilarious.........'slightly watered down Tory'............. WON THREE GENERAL ELECTIONS !!!............that's really funny (unless you are a Tory of course)
The fact that he won 3 elections is not the point. If the label says '****' on it people will expect there to be '****' in the tin. People vote Labour because that's the label on the tin. Tony Blair's Labour party was just media spin which had nothing to do with how people live their lives. He was, and is a war criminal, liar and enemy of true Labour people throughout the land. He has set the Labour Party back a generation
Actually I like and admire Dan Jarvis..........man of Steel But I wont vote for anything Labour unless its NEW Labour We need the Labour Party to represent ALL sections of British society from the school teacher in the Shetlands to the banker in the City of London. Dosent matter to me if the bankers get £1 million per week in bonus.......because the more they make the more there is for the hospitals, police, schools and the infrastructure of this country Fingers crossed that the City of London becomes the financial centre of the world
