Disgraceful from our 'fans' today. I agree that he's not performing but to jeer him was disgraceful.

    Bunch of loons.

Definitely needs dropping for a few games. We seem to be trying to accommodate him into our team, and getting absolutely f*ck all from him. He's definitely got the ability, but his effort at times is abysmal. Berry showed more positive signs in his brief cameo than what Conor has in a long time.

As bad as he was, I don't agree with the booing or sarcastic cheering when he was taken off.

Signed from a struggling L2 club for 200k, and goes on to directly contribute to about 30 goals.

    Gash.

Give me a Dawson, Etuhu or Perkins please.

Does anyone have a stat that shows where his assists have come from? I.E. dead balls/set pieces and then from open play?

I was actually. No better or worse than the rest. Much better than say Declan John about on a par with the rest. Decent effort just before he was subbed. But aye it's a shame we can't fill our midfield with people who run around pointing I miss those glory days.

Vast majority from set pieces. Why? Do they not count now?

Doesnt make him immune to criticism when he plays badly though. He was directly at fault for their goal today, which by your logic (that only the goals/assist count matters) he was crap today.

I don't agree with cheering when he got brought off though, that's just immature and idiotic.

Could be darn to this need for managers to have the pitch watered, he slipped and Pearson also went darn twice once getting up and feeling his hamstring.

Hourihane, has clearly been our most creative midfielder, scoring and creating goals. He has had a poor run of form last few games. It doesn't take away his ability. I don't doubt his effort, although not the most tenacious and tough tackler I do think he shows effort. However I don't get why we jeer our most creative player after a poor performance. I can name several in fact many players who had equally poor runs and games over the season. The problem is we have no balance, no attacking outlets wide and we are still several players short of a balanced competitive team. We also have too many players who don't move with / carry the ball in midfield. Can't blame one player for that. I think Hourihane should be part of the key squad ready for next season but we definitely need to strengthen and he needs to regain form to keep his place.

Not many would say he is gash but he has been poor lately. I rate him but at this stage of the season I'd give him a rest and get him ready for next season. It could be just what he needs.

Could be a good suggestion, mate. Let's have a look at Berry in a similar position for the remaining matches. Another point is that Conor took a bad knock in the first half and seemed to be struggling to shake it off for the rest of the game.
He's still my POTY by a country mile.

Berry was very impressive when he came on and I'd definitely give him a run in the team now.

Definitely deserves the last 4 games in his preferred position as does Winnall.
