Would you offer Ramage a deal next season? I would personally; this he's good in air, good leader and seems to care about club.

I would, providing he can stay fit. Cranie, Nyatanga and Ramage would walk into the vast majority of league 1 defences.

We (Ponty72 and me) were discussing this today. I rate him, despite his shortcomings and I'd offer him a real if it was my decision.

I would. We lack leadership and he is the one who gives us that. Lots of young uns will learn from him. When fit I want him to start.

No. I love his passion but he isn't going to get any quicker or less injury prone, is he?

He'd add something to the squad most definitely. Whether he'd be in the starting line up is another question. I'd like us to bring another centre half in as I don't see Cranie or M'voto staying and I feel it's 50/50 as to whether Nyatanga stays.

I don't want him to hinder the development of Mason Holgate but I feel we will be on the look out for another centre half in the summer, regardless of whether Ramage signs permanently or not.

Maybe it's just me but I think he's sloppy too often and his tendency to boot/slice the ball up field is becoming frustrating. Great leader and clearly a proper pro but I just think the defence looks less solid with him involved.

I think some games defensively he's a rock but in other games he has mvoto games and just seems to hoof the ball up pitch or out of play.

If he was on a pittance, then yes. You can tell he's a natural leader, and he's the kind of old head you want to have around the club.

I doubt he'll be demanding a low salary, though, so he's probably not worth the risk. He always seems to be injured, more so recently. He's slow and only going to get slower. He's not the best with the ball at his feet either, which won't really fit with the way Johnson wants us to play.

I think he'll want a high salary but then again surely he would rather earn a smaller wage than nothing? I can't see any other clubs after him than lower league.

I would offer him a deal, we're going to need some experience next season and I'd be looking towards the future with him with the possibility of a coaching role

That "hoof ball" pass that found SSW wasn't bad though was it. Inch perfect and begging to be converted

    On the right money yes.

If anyone waves a cheque book near Cranie he will be off. (Which I don't blame him for. He put in a great performance at full back today in my opinion.)

Ramage has experience, but we should plan to use him periodically. Depends if the money warrants it, from both points of view.

No thanks, got a mistake in him every game just like M'Voto. Time for Johnson to build his own squad.

Defo not. He just isn't good enough. I'd rather keep BFJ.

Not for me. Aerial battles and backs to the wall defending he's your man, but he struggles in other aspects. Too injury prone too for the wedge he'll no doubt command. I do think he's a great asset to have in the squad though, but it would have to be at usual L1 wages.

Not for me. We went six games without conceding a goal, without him. His distribution is shocking and he's too injury prone

I would offer him a position as player/coach, with a view to coaching full time. This would be on less money, but would be the beginning of his next phase in the football world.

He is a nice bloke but slowing, injury prone, expensive, limited and does not obviously add anything.
