    Keep posting. If everyone left because they didn't like what one person put on here, the BBS wouldn't have any posters left. Me and Whitey don't always agree but the board is better for having him around. If you met him you'd probably like him because how people come across online isn't usually the same as in person.

    A pensioner behaving like that on twitter REALLY

    He may be a good Barnsley fan but come on just because you don't agree with somebody's comments you don't go off on one like that

    Maybe my comment about him requiring a crack was a bit OTT but come one where all Barnsley fans at the end of the day

    He might go to every match but doesn't give him right to abuse fellow fans on bloody social media

    Last night was hilarious. Some old chap who from what I've been told follows the club and England home and away (without fail) decided to tweet me out of the blue, saying "real fans go to every game" and called me 'Shitey'. After I'd stopped my sides from splitting and wiped away the ocean of laughter induced tears, I asked this fella if he was being serious, or was he somewhat drunk. He said he was having a top night in Nottingham with other true supporters and that I should focus on Huddersfield Town and gay boy Buttercup. Later made reference to my other half, suggested those walking to Bradford were doing so for free tickets and said he'd be waiting there for me.

    He was supported by a number of others who I've also seen at games, who were egging him on. It reminded me of school such was the high brow nature of conversation between adults. Adults having a 'top night' in Notts, trolling a fellow supporter. I can only assume this was because I, like 8,000 or so other supporters wasn't at Notts County last night. And thus, I'm assuming our opinions are less valid. Think that's how it works.

    I accept that in this social media world we now live in, that if you put yourself up or out there in the ways I often do, you'll sometimes get shot. No problem with that. I've lived 33 years and everywhere I've been, be it school, college, the workplace, social circles etc, you'll always find the odd bellend or folk you don't get on with, and vice versa. So it's not a shock to me that some folk don't like me. Although in this instance, it's folk not liking me based on social media because these folk don't actually know me.
