My Thoughts on Last Night

Pre- Match - Went to the Trent Navgiation at the side of the ground , Southbank and the wetherspoons at the side of the cricket ground

All really welcoming and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere (nice change)

Enjoyed the game to be fair and thought we played some good stuff in the first half and should have put the game out of sight.

Jabo was an hand full all game and would love him here next season. Could have gone down before the 1 on the 1 with Carroll but decided to keep going , His strength is something we have been missing all season

Lewin once again our stand out performer and has been majority of the season ( he gets my player of the year )

Was worth £24.00 just for SSW goal

I think people have to realise County are scrapping for their lives and we had nothing to play for (within reason) yes they get paid to play football but it doesnt work like that. And to be fair they never stopped and county had some great chances of their own.


Just look at the results we got in flickers season when we were fighting for our lives.

Holgate had a nightmare when he came on (but he was playing left back ??)

I also thought John played well last night and very much improved from recent weeks.

All in all a good day out , cant fault the players for their efforts

Nearly cost us a goal in the first half

Decided to play straight across his box but luckily the player didn't capitalise

Better than Saturday but still not the best

I thought Gary Jones for Notts County had a stormer and i believe he got MOTM but i could be wrong

 

Said the same about SSW goal, beauty. Don't rate John at all, I would go with lalkovic on the wing for the last 3 games.

John was marginally better but still no grest shakes.

 

Think you were right about Lewin, great match last night, but I personally disagree about him being great all season by a long shot.

 

Majority of the season i said - he's had some off days but less than any other player i can think of at the club ( who have been here since the start of the season)
