I've re-read mine and I stand by it, especially the blatant piss take.

Think you referred to Scowen's half a season. And because I've voted Winnall who's also only played half a season really, AND Hourihane only performed well for half a season, that's why I posted as I did.

    You **** off.

Just reinforces what a strange season we've had. All of the contenders have really only played half a season.

I'd half forgotten all of the Hourihane goals in the video, mainly because I haven't seen him have a shot from distance since Xmas. In fact, as I wasn't in the ground for any of those 4 goals (missed Gillingham, left before the MK Dons one, didn't go away), I'm not sure I've seen him shoot from distance all season. Yet he has that in his locker. LJ needs to get him doing it again.

Hadn't seen Winnall's goal from Tuesday, and I've gone for that for goal of the season because it's a great shot but with a good team move before it.

Holgate young player, but I reckon young Bree would have got it if he'd have stayed fit for a couple more months.

Got to be Hourihane due to the number of goals he's scored or assisted and he has played it all. He's probably knackered now after playing every game at a higher level than he ever has before. His long range shots might have stopped going in but his assists haven't dropped all season. I know someone will say that he is taking the majority of set pieces but a hell of a lot more have found there way into the back of the net than in previous years.

Young Player has to be Holgate for me.

Goal of the season - not fully decided between Jenning's or Winnall's against Oldham (as that one probably made me the happiest at the time).

Agree about Bree. He's the young player who's impressed me most, massive shame he got injured.
